 Today is already a heavy one as Remembrance Day, as we honor the soldiers of  too many wars...  but today is also the 3rd anniversary of the death of my brother-from-another-mother, Emru Townsend.

My novel is dedicated to him.

Another sad loss

I just learned that my friend Allan Lappin died in his sleep last week.

We mostly spoke in e-mail and on Compuserve forums (the comicbook and SF ones) but I met him in person at Torcon 3 in Toronto in 2003.

I will miss him.

There was much racism in her heyday. All I saw was an elegant woman with an incredible voice.

A legend gone

 After a year's battle with cancer, the world has lost John Forsythe.

The legendary voice of Charlie in Charlie's Angels, Blake Carrington on Dynasty, many other things. He had 92 years on Earth. Long for a human being, but not long enough.

The wrestler called Ludvig Borga was found dead. He was 47.

He performed in the simpler days of more cartoony characters in the then WWF. Many of us chuckled about his character, the 'Evil Fin'.
