I'm LONG back from Toronto!
Apr. 12th, 2010 10:37 amI was there 2 weekends ago. I've just been slow to post about it.
I was at the Toronto Comic Con. The exposition centre there was huge. I'll have to remember to go to the other side with transport the next time. I'll rent a scooter next time too to conserve my energy. I got very tired pushing my chair around.
Although it was a comicbook convention, there were a lot of non-comic guests. I have autographed photos with Ax & Smash (Demolition in WWE), 'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan, the Iron Sheik (he made it half price for me because he liked my t-shirt); I spoke with the Honky Tonk Man and a lot with Tracy Brooks and miss Jackie from TNA and more. I'm saving my full report for my zine.
My hotel room was incredible, the shower an adventure for me as it was wide.
If you think I'm complaining, you don't know me well.
I ultimately took the train. It was much less expensive, but the trip was long: 6 hours there, 5 back. It took me quite some time to recover... I still am.
