Gleeks rejoice!  Last night (Friday) was the final season debut.

Most of the songs I didn't care for (Ariana Grande? Puh-leez!), but re-doing the video for Take on Me always makes me wistful.

First and foremost, that a youngster (31) dies is tragic. There will be an autopsy, but he abused narcotics in the past; I suspect they're the cause now.

This will also impact the show (secondary to the loss). Finn Hudson was studying to be a teacher, and there was the storyline with Rachel too.

What a senseless waste.

Like last season, it started weak. It picked up 3 episodes in - and not just because Donny Most (Ralph Malph on Happy Days) was a guest star.  The stories are heating up.

Glee was reruns tonight (everything is right now, but there'll be no new episodes of this show until April. Oy!) What amazes me though is how some of the songs don't only sometimes fit the story, they also sometimes strike an emotional chord...

Tonight they re-aired the episode where Sue learns that Quinn is pregnant. The group performs the song Keep Holding On, a song about help always being there. It hits hard.

I just caught up on this episode of Glee thanks to Hulu.

I still have to rent the show on DVD to see the early episodes, but just hearing the gang perform True Colors was worth it.
